Rent to Buy 

Rent to Buy allows you to rent a home whilst saving for a deposit to purchase the home at a later time. Rent is set at 80% of the market value, helping you save the remaining 20% towards your deposit. The Rent to Buy scheme at Artifex started in 2021 and runs for a 5 year period, the tenancy is an assured shorthold tenancy agreement fixed for 12 months after which it is a rolling monthly tenancy.

Reserving your apartment 

All apartments are currently tenanted, to be notified when an apartment becomes available please speak to the Willo Homes team to register your interest. We will email you when an apartment becomes available and we are accepting applications for the tenancy.

The application process involves these four simple steps:

1. Rent to Buy Application Form – simply request the form, complete and return it to us.

2. Documents – Required to provide: 
• Photographic ID
• Last three months’ payslips
• Savings account required for future saving of deposit 
• Last 3 months bank statements for all accounts
• Proof of current address.

3. Reservation - Once the application form and documents have been received our property sales advisor will review your application and then refer you for a tenancy referencing check. If all is approved and proceedable you can then reserve the apartment by paying a holding fee of £50.00 which is deducted from your 1st months rent when you sign for the property.

4. Move in - On payment of the reservation fee we will contact you to arrange a date to start the tenancy. Prior to the tenancy signing we will require a rent payment in advance and one month’s rent upfront as a security deposit held by DPS.
